Come Feel For Life With the Roeshdien Jaz Live Team at the Reeler Theatre this Saturday!
In celebration
of the 5th year anniversary for his debut single ''Feel for life'', Roeshdien
Jaz presents a live show of music and poetic entertainment at the Reeler
Theatre (Ronderbosch Boys High School) this coming Saturday – featuring Cape
Town Vocal Quartet ‘Protégé’ and Spoken Word artist Siphokazi Jonas!
Roeshdien Jaz and
Protégé are both young musical acts from Cape Town, who’s been in the music
industry for more than 10 years. In addition to the live show, these two acts
have recently recorded a new single with Clive Ridgway (Smile 90.4fm) titled “Be
A Man” – a song inspired by the '16 Days of activism for violence against women'.
Protégé Vocalist
Ebrahiem Floris is excited to be collaborating with Roeshdien,
and shares a bit of his music history with us. “Protégé started
way back with my 3 friends when we were at Cathkin High School,” he says. “With
all the challenges that our youth faces in our community, we thought why not
try to inspire them with powerful messages in our songs?”
In addition to the “Feel for Life” anniversary celebration, Roeshdien
also gives a preview of what the audience can expect on Saturday night. “The
show will feature a fusion of soul, jazz, reggae and spoken word (and a few
surprises!) but more importantly it is a tribute to life, love and all its many
beautiful contradictions,” he says.
***Come along to the “Feel for Life” live show – tickets
