Cape Cultural Collective Celebrates Africa Day – Come Join in on the Festivities!

In keeping with the Africa Day (25th May) consciousness, the Cape Cultural Collective (CCC) invites YOU to celebrate our continent’s rich culture and diversity at their ‘We Are Africa’ program on Friday 29th May at the SA Sendinggestig Museum (40 Long Street, Cape Town) - a night of poetry, music and dance!

The program for the evening will include a range of poets, storytellers, dances and musicians who will engage the audience with their art, as they share their personal reflections of Africa. A few of them will include Blues musician Elton Goslett (Blues), belly dancer Mish Hendricks as well as the ever-popular Rosa Choir who will sing traditional songs in English, Afrikaans and Xhosa!

CCC Communications Coordinator June Knight encourages all lovers of art and music to come and join in on the Africa Day celebration on Friday night. “We look forward to another great evening, where a diverse group of African individuals will connect,” she says. “Come and celebrate the heart of Africa with us – all is welcome!”
