Cape Town Gears Up for Open Streets Mitchell's Plain!

Mitchell ' s Plain will be buzzing next weekend as visitors, cyclists, creatives, exhibitors and vendors galore take  to  the streets at Open Streets Mitchell's Plain –  Sunday 2 April  from  12pm to 5pm !  Open Streets is a citizen-driven initiative which aims to change the way citizens and residents experience the streets of Cape Town. Since its establishment in 2013, Open Streets has been hosted in Observatory, Bellville, Langa, Mitchell's Plain and the Cape Town city centre. The Open Streets team is also working in partnership with the City of Cape Town’s Transport & Urban Development Authority (TDA) to establish a regular Open Streets programme across the city where everyone is invited to participated and explore the streets on foot, bicycle, skateboard or any other non-motorised form of mobility – free of charge!
